Around the League

Harriet Murphy (7 wins, high P/M)

Kevin Parnell (two EROs)

2011-2012 Monday Doubles Division

In doubles action, W & S (Harriet and Pete) won 13 of their 16 games for a perfect 5-round night. Bank and Pray (Khalid ben Hassan and Gary Burns) were nearly as good with a dozen wins.

Harriet Murphy was on her game, winning 7 times out of 8 while Kevin Parnell ran the table twice, Kelly ten Holder once.. Dave Barr leads in individual points by a hair. Don Shalla and Kelly are a single point behind.

Giorgio Giaccone (9 wins, +47 P/M)

Gerry Williams (8 wins, 3 EROs)

2011-2012 Tuesday Gold Division

Back-to-Back Jacks had plenty of back-to-back wins, giving them 10 out of a possible 12 round points and good enough to put them in 2nd place. 8-Ball-is-4-Bangers (what's with all the hyphenated team names?) had a decent night with eight points. U-Y-Nee-Fux also has hyphens but that didn't help them too much; they only managed six-and-a-half on 12. FA-Cue holds a slim lead thus far.

Giorgio Giaccone was Player of the Night with 9 wins in 10 games, the high P/M of +47 and a run-out. Multiple EROs came from some likely suspects. Gerry Williams and Andre Noel both had three, while Greg Smyth and Chris Timmins ran twice. Greg only suffered two losses, both of them EROs at the hands of Andre. He also leads on the players board in both points and win percentage (73.33%). Total EROs across the division: 23.

Connie Fedorak (perfect night, +26 P/M)

Craig Ricks (points leader)

2011-2012 Tuesday 5/6 Division

Hot Pockets conjured up their own brand of magic against The Wyzards, winning 14 of 16 games and all 5 round points. Well done, ladies! They are in the lead, but it's close. Three teams are just a half-point behind, including Boomsticks who also won all 5 round points in the latest outing.

Camera-shy Connie Fedorak showed why she is considered to be among the top women in the city. Her perfect night included a lot of big wins for an impressive +26 P/M. Jill Munro and Krystal Piamonte also had perfect nights. One of Connie's wins was against Craig Ricks and this was his first loss of the season. He is atop the leader board and has a 91.67% win average. Ray Belanger is just a single point behind, Connie in third.

Dan Hughes (4-for-5, ERO, +23)

Guy Renaud (4-for-5, ERO, points leader)

2011-2012 Wednesday Bronze Division

Mophos were up against a tough team but that didn't seem to faze them. They won 14 of 20 games, and in all the right places, to emerge with a perfect 6-point night. Cue and Cushion Crew (also played very well with 15 wins and five-and-a-half round points. 10/4 Roger That rounds out the list of ass-kickers. They managed five. The Crew's good night puts them a half-point in the lead, just ahead of Fubar. Not a single player had a perfect night, but 10 went 4-for-5.

Those to augment their near-perfect nights with EROs include Dan Hughes, Guy Renaud and Kevin Parnell. The high P/M was achieved by Troy Dennis (+24) and Scott Lackey had the only other run-out of the night. Guy leads in player points, five ahead of Pat White.

Pete Kennedy (perfect night, +28)

Laurie Jardine (only ERO)

2011-2012 Wednesday Copper Division

Wow, what a night of lopsided victories! Of the eight matches in the Copper division, half were 5-0 wins while the other half were 4-1. Blue Balls took the prize for most ruthless team, winning 15 of 16 games. 3 Sticks and a Rack and Round 2 were not much nicer, giving up only two games each. The latter are tied with Rack and Roll with 13 round points each.

No less than a dozen players had perfect nights. Pete Kennedy had the highest PM of anyone with an impresive +28. He also leads in total points. The single ERO of the evening went to Laurie Jardine.

Brian Tom (7 wins, ERO, high P/M)

Brad Dawes (two EROs)

2011-2012 Thursday Silver Division

Hook Em Danno managed 7.5 round points against a strong team with a very strong spare. Three other teams managed seven points, including Ballbreakers who won 29 of 40 games. Hook Em leads in the early race, followed by CRS and Bellagio.

No perfect nights to speak of, but Brian Tom was likley happy with his 7 wins and ERO. Franco Giaccone was also victorious 7 times. In the ERO department Brad Dawes had two while single run-outs went to Brian, Morgan Bristow, Steve Watton, Eric Moffatt, Curtis Houlden, Sean Robertson, Marina Linquerri, Mike Redquest, Pat Walsh, Steve Young and Milo Kraljevic. The players board has Helmet Ortner and Bob Wright dead even with 225 points each.
